This goes hand in hand with observations I’ve become obsessed with – Americans are becoming more and more deeply rooted in vanity. We have the inability to grasp the concept that a choice we make isn’t necessarily the best choice, but we want to try and influence others that our choice is the best. For some folks, good isn’t good enough. Everything needs to be perfect. I have made it a hobby to watch the actions of others, especially those that are hell-bent on making sure their $25,000 car is as perfect as a hand-built exotic. There can be no small blemish on any consumable. Blemished items are discarded as unwanted trash. A slightly miscolored kernel of corn ruins the entire can of corn. A single run on a paint job is a travesty and demands refunding or major discounts. “I PAID HARD EARNED MONEY [spoiler alert: they did not work hard] AND THIS HAS A (almost imperceptible) 1MM SCRATCH (that can only be seen with a flashlight and a magnifying glass) – I WANT 50% OF MY MONEY BACK!”

If you care to participate in my new found hobby, try to open up your mind and allow yourself to escape the clutches of vanity – then, start paying attention to everyone around you, everyone you come into contact with. Start counting the number of people that obsess over the smallest detail. You will have more jaw dropping moments than you could have ever expected.

I began this journey as a classic car buff back in the 80s. I was brought into it by my father and later, by friends. I kept up with the trends, becoming one of the first to enjoy the hobby of detailing (true detailing, not the joke that the industry’s become) my cars and doing cosmetic work. Custom car stereos, custom paint, avoiding cheap accessories. What it’s turned into is finding pure and pristine barn units, with extreme low miles, spending 2x what the car as originally worth to “restore” it, or, begin building a $40k engine and doing swaps with modern drive trains to make the vehicle as powerful as absolutely possible – which in turn drives these cars to take prizes in the car shows, which drives away the weekenders working on a budget.

We have went from being a society where only the 1% elite rich could afford perfection to the majority DEMANDING perfection at every turn. Buying “sub par” because that’s what we could afford and living with it has turned into buying sub par and demanding that perfection exist. Seeking the most economical (cheapest) contractor’s bid on a project, only to DEMAND perfection in their work.

Ancient History

11.06.2024 (9:38 am) – Filed under: Humanity,Interesting Theories,Pro Bono Philosophy

I would like to postulate that studying ancient history, for the sake of “knowing about ancient history” is wasteful in that it takes away too much limited human resources (great minds) from areas better served by those minds, such as future tech research, medical research, economics, and an entire list of sciences that would be more beneficial to humanity. While we spend time researching when the horse became central to human civilization, while we study when farming began in Mesopotamia, while we search for the dagger of Brutus, other areas more important to human civilization are understaffed.

I am a history buff, I love ancient history, I love learning about it through books and documentaries (unbiased). I would be less fulfilled without the knowledge I have acquired concerning said topics. Even still, I realize that what I’ve learned is useless in the grand scheme of things. My admiration of Archimedes is without limits. I absolutely love learning more about Genghis Khan, Atilla the Hun, Plato, Socrates, The Books Thomas, Truth and Mary Magdalene. Such knowledge, while individually important, doesn’t help humanity to grow. One could argue that if all of society studied such, our civilization would benefit – but we know that only a small percentage of folks will delve into the classics (of anything, any specialty of society). And I am of around average intelligence (for human kind, not perhaps for certain groups).

We have a finite limit of genius level individuals capable of making the “next great leap” in _____insert any new innovation_____. Coupled with that, therein lies exceptionalism that is necessary for these individuals to take that step. Genius does  not beget accomplishment. It’s a well known fact that there are genius level intellects all around us (even though you may not be aware of this) – individuals that NEVER CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY in a meaningful way, due to a variety of reasons such as poor physical health, poor mental health, lack of ambition, lack of opportunity, abuse, neglect, simple unwillingness to participate (for a variety of reasons). Exceptionalism + intellect do not necessarily go hand-in-hand. Therefore, the number of genius level individuals capable of making that “next great leap” is further diluted by the lack of their ability to be exceptional. For instance, take High School Athletes, an individual may have the physical prowess to be break records running the 100 meter dash, however, if that person cannot keep their head straight, they’ll beat themselves before taking to the blocks. While their ability is still there, their lack of focus, drive, determination or mental stamina may preclude them from taking the record. Situations such as this takes these folks out of the running for the win. Same with academics. We place so much pressure on individuals with said genius, they may break before the final results are delivered.

By stopping with useless studies, how about we try to focus those that have the abilities and the exceptionalism to toward more important feats of study.

The U.S. military has certain job roles available at any given time. Recruiters are given lists of available slots. When someone tests for the military, only those roles that are needed are offered. If the recruit doesn’t want to do any of those things listed, that’s their choice, but no other offers are made outside of those roles the military needs. To a certain degree, the recruits have choices, but those choices are limited. Square peg, square hole. Everyone wants unlimited personal choices – even when their choices have no benefit what-so-ever to society. Therein lies the conundrum. Free will, liberty, freedom in general, vs. the good of society. Should society set rules governing what a person should be allowed to do with their intellect? No. Should society be manicured to push individuals along the path that benefits us more, without making these choices mandatory? Probably. How about, instead of telling folks “….you can be anything you want.” – we transform that by first stating, “…if we had more people like you working in experimental physics, exploration outside the solar system may be possible.” Folks want to believe that someone with the ability to do experimental physics will end up working in experimental physics, and that’s simply not the case. A few will, but some won’t. Some may in fact turn toward a career in archeology, perhaps specializing in the archeology of some mundane culture that ultimately did not contribute anything to civilization. While that may be important to a select few decedents of said culture, it’s a dead end that will never yield any benefits what-so-ever to society.

How many garage bands do we need that incorporates a child prodigy? How many mathematicians wind up becoming accountants, rather than theoretical physicists?

By no means would I ever consider forcing someone to do something they don’t want to do. Never. I just think that more emphasis should be placed on certain fields of study in order to recruit more human resources to participate in these fields, rather than pointing toward a more open environment. Why not place a monetary interest in these fields, increasing funding for scholarships toward these fields and completely dropping scholarships for underwater basket weaving? If a person doesn’t want to study a field that’s backed by more scholarships, that’s still their choice, a choice that will ultimately cost them more money, because less scholarships will be available. Such a change would be a massive undertaking, perhaps impossible. The fact remains, more folks are needed to explore the possibilities of the future, rather than study what already occurred.

Addresses in the Universe

07.08.2023 (12:01 pm) – Filed under: Interesting Theories

I am out of my league here. This isn’t a writing that professes in any way, shape or form to know what I am actually talking about. I don’t know the maths, I don’t know the physics involved to give anywhere near a complete and intelligent answer to the questions I propose. What I am doing is providing my observations and questions (and maybe an idea or two that hasn’t yet been touched on in the media I’ve studied) from the abundance of documents/books I’ve read and documentaries I’ve watched. I am also relieving myself of this burden that’s been in my head for weeks now. Thinking and rethinking the possibilities and problems. By writing this all down (and doing so on my blog was just a way to keep track of it in the future for my own use), I am able to get a better idea of where I am heading with this.

To get back on track, here’s a list of things that I am currently taking as truths, if you don’t already know these things, I suggest you looked into it more deeply AND you’re not the target for this paper:

  • E=MC^2 (This “general” relativity equation gives us a few things, such as:)
  • Note the term “relative”, this matters when discussing….
  • Time and Space are directly tied together, henceforth stated as “Space-Time”. Everything is relative to their respective “times” because:
  • Time isn’t a constant across the universe. Because of what E=MC^2 posits, it’s impossible to have the same “time” in all locations of the universe, in fact, time actually tallies itself differently on Earth, which has been proven through the use of experiments at different altitudes.
  • Einstein’s general theory of relatively opened up a multitude of other avenues (and questions) to explore, and answer (at some point) creating a stir after it’s original introduction to the world, including….
  • Schwarzschild’s Singularity, which eventually led to the discussion of….
  • Black Holes, which were later proven by Hawking and Penrose.
  • Einstein’s “Special” relativity.
  • Mass bends light.
  • (There’s lots more to add here, I am just including the three above for the purpose of getting started with this thought process)

The three items above will lend a little background to a couple of things I want to present, but first, I want to mention a piece of science-fiction, to which we all know the creators of science-fiction typically base some of their work on science-fact.

Stargate and their addressing system. Yes, the movie that brought us the television shows. Why won’t it work (as explained in the show)? Because of the first three things above. While using some of the work of Einstein and the general theory of relativity to make it more believable for us, digging deeper into astrophysics, there must be a must broader explanation than what the audience was given. If you recall the “ah ha!” moment from the movie, Dr. Daniel Jackson (James Spader) describes the method to find a location to a given place (in space) and that it takes six points of origin, plus to travel to that location, you need a seventh point, the starting location of your voyage. Based on Einstein’s, Schwarzschild’s, Penrose and Hawking’s (among many, many others) work, we know that to be false. Why? Because we must also calculate where that object is traveling (leading the target). Now, let’s give a little leeway to the writers on this one, they’re technically NOT giving exact coordinates for the destination or starting point, they’re representing where the destination is by symbol, without giving the audience the exact location (assuming the gates can do the calculations perhaps). My point is this:

Through the theory of general relativity, and the subsequent theories that are derived from it, we know that mass bends light and therefore, anything we observe in the universe has the potential to have a different set of coordinates because of the effects of space-time by mass and gravity. Also, because of the time that has passed since that light was produced (billions of years) and the constant shifting of objects, that particular object has moved locations in the universe since that light was originally produced. Not only is it in a different location than what we observe, the changes to the new location would need to be calculated based on all objects that have an effect on the light being bent a number of times over the billions of years it’s taken to arrive at our location. In other words, *IF* it were possible today to physically move in the known universe from point A to point B (that are separated by billions of miles) almost instantly, if one were simply to take locations at face value, ie. “planet 1 of star system X is located at coordinates XYX….”, if we pulled the trigger and in a blink of an eye arrive at planet 1, it would no longer be there, in fact, it would have traveled a vast distance away from where we witnessed it from Earth. What’s more, we would need to differentiate which objects could possibly cause a shift of light over that vast distance, which increases the potential objects exponentially, which at this point in our technological evolution (based on my extensive experience with computer technology) I would have to guess that it’s currently impossible to simulate everything involved to calculate all of the movements.  NOTE: I must give credit to some of our science fiction writers who undoubtedly thought of something similar to this because if you pay attention during some of their operations on their flight decks, they actually use the phrase “make calculations for jumping to _______”.

Now, I know I can’t be the only person that’s come up with this. After listening to an abundance of podcasts with Neil deGrasse-Tyson, Michio Kaku, reading docs, books and watching documentaries, no one has really mentioned this and I want to know more. I have seen some similar questions being asked online, with almost cookie-cutter responses (to some degree), but not as precisely as I would have liked. Even when the questions are asked, many times the enormity is left out of either the question or the answer.

We can take into consideration “leading the target”, whereby we observe the star on Date X and then later measure it after a given amount of time on Date Y, use that to estimate the travel to that distant system, point and shoot. It’s still a guess. Why? Again, we fall back to 1-3 above. Not only do these large mass objects have an effect on the light traveling TO us, they also have an effect on us and our equipment traveling toward our destination. Below, you will see the idea of shorter initial distance calculations, which would lessen the “leading the target” variances.

Our culture doesn’t like to use the phrase, “….it’s impossible to figure out.” I don’t like using that phrase for perhaps a different set of reasons, which primarily revolve around, “….I may be smart, but I know there’s a ton of more intelligent people in the world than I.” And hope that someone like Neil and Michio have the abilities to see through this problem and come to a resolution. To travel there? Well, we need to start somewhere and frankly, because the technology isn’t there to create the drive system to make it happen, the very least we can do is to try and come up with the methodology to navigate the way for when the transportation is available, I mean, math can happen well in advance of new technology, such as faster-than-light propulsion, in this case, we have enough info to get started on the nav.

Quantum computers could resolve this issue. If they’re everything they’re cracked up to be, this might be a great simulation to begin developing to see how they handle the calculations needed to make the leap.

Even if we came up with a method to develop an artificial worm hole, we would still need to come up with the destination address in which to punch in to the worm hole creation device.

Now, one way around this would be to calculate shorter waypoints from Point A to Point B, making a series of jumps from the closest star to the next, along our route (Waypoint A.1, A.2, A.3, etc. until you reach Point B). This would cut the initial calculation time down significantly by eliminating a vast number of objects that could not effect each individual (and smaller) leg of the journey, which may be the easiest way (for now) to make it happen. The end destination would not be known until we nearly reach the end of the journey. Such is the way of human kind. We didn’t know how to get the west coast until Lewis and Clark made the final choice of routes over the Sierra Nevada Range. Hard to imagine though, using the basis of the same type of exploration-navigation to get to a distant star system that Lewis and Clark used to get from the east coast of the United States to the west coast, one leg at a time. Even then, the onboard computer system would have to have other abilities, such as the ability to see the universe between the current location of our transport and the final destination, understand where that location is in relation to the end destination, in order to make the calculations for the next leg.

Shew. That’s a lot to think about. Why do I think of this stuff? I have no idea. But like I said above, I had to write it down – have an outlet, otherwise, I think it may have driven me half a bubble off level.

…coming to a head.

There’s a problem that’s been around for a very long time that I feel we’re on the cusp of it coming to fruition. I’ve been involved, in one way or another, in various “privacy” oriented websites for going on two decades. I’ve been affiliated with individuals and organizations that have known for a very long time about the issues just being presented to the general population by wikileaks in regards to the CIA’s ability (along with the NSA) to listen in on just about anything they choose. No one really listened to us, not in vast numbers. Only those with the *feeling* that it could happen, those on the “fringe”. Now, it’s out and it’s making headlines (it was released by wikileaks today). Most all of this is old news to me and many of my friends. We’re not shocked, we’re not surprised. Yes, we could say “I TOLD YOU SO”, and we would be correct. For years, we’ve talked about the ignorant masses (no slight intended, look up the definition of “ignorant”) going about their daily lives without a care in the world when it came to stuff like this. We’ve provided alternative sources of communications to mask your identities in some shape or form (Tor and www.cotse.net), but not many people listened to us. Are you worried about the smart TVs listening in on your daily conversations? Do you care if your refrigerator (Internet of Things) spies on you? Of course not. You could give a shit less. And that, is by design. I am not going to go into it much further than that, but your sports television, your reality t.v. and your prime time dramas, coupled with piss poor public education have all led the masses to be dulled down to the point of being controlled by the powers-that-be, and that should hit you right in the face. What once was a conspiratorial theory on the fringe of society was just proven by wikileaks to be 100% true, if by way of circumstantial evidence.

The crux of the issue is, if all of this is going on around us, how are those among us that really give a shit, going to communicate in an open manner befitting those that are supposedly living in a *free* society where debate and anti-government discourse was supposedly great for society in general? (If you don’t believe me, read the papers of our founding fathers where the First Amendment came from and it’s intent).

You, the individual without a care in the world about such things, don’t really matter in the grand scheme. You are a pawn. Who matters are those of us that will make a difference, those that will fight for “freedom” (whatever the hell that really is) and liberty (non-existent idea these days).

The government controls you. You’ve become complacent. You like your luxuries. You want a warm bed, easy to obtain food, great entertainment spewing forth from the idiot box. You want to take your wife and kids out on a 7 day vacation where they can play in polluted waters, around radiation infused fish, while being further inundated with more mind control by fuzzy characters with big floppy feet, singing two syllable words to the marching beat of a socialist army of idiots. And you’re just fine with that. You don’t want to pay health care insurance premiums. You worked for 20 years and your company offered you a pension and free healthcare for life and there’s nothing wrong with that! If the company goes into bankruptcy, it’s the gummints problem! They should bail out your healthcare plan! You worked! You’re owed something!

You lazy bastards need to get off of your asses and take care of yourselves and you shoulda done it 20 or more years ago. But no, you were too ignorant to plan ahead.

Ant and the grasshopper, all over again.

Back to my point.

Facebook is compromised. It is no longer a valid way of communicating. They’re censoring posts by way of labeling them “disputed”. “Disputed” doesn’t mean “fake”. It means that something is being considered as being untruthful, considered being the operative word. Who is doing the disputing? Considering the left leaning tendencies of Facebook proper, if something isn’t in their line of reasoning, it is disputed. Slanted. Tainted. For years, our information that we put out concerning the Three Letter Agencies was “disputed”. We were called kooks. Now that it’s been realized and released? Vindication. However, Facebook controls communications. True, there’s other avenues to communicate (which could also be censored), however, the ignorant masses, once again, have been controlled by the shiny object dangled before them by their masters. Stay on Facebook. That’s all you need.

Blogs were once a thing, there’s still a lot of them out there, but the growth has slowed. There are other avenues, but not nearly as wide spread as Facebook. And of course, Facebook and their government counterparts know this and they’re exploiting you, your data and advertisers because of it. And you’re letting it happen.

I am not. I am here, on my blog, explaining something, once again, that will come to light in another 15 or 20 years.

Puppets. That’s what society has become. 360 million puppets.

After the crisis, a worldwide rise in unrest?

28.02.2011 (1:21 pm) – Filed under: American Civil War II,Humanity,Interesting Theories

LONDON, Feb 28 (Reuters) – With the Middle East in turmoil, other authoritarian states jumpy and post-crisis economic pain prompting protest in western Europe and elsewhere, some suspect a systemic rise in worldwide unrest might just be beginning.

No shit? Really?

Fucking mainstream media. All of this was evident to many of us 10 years ago, when I stated “…there will be another civil war in the United States within the next 20 years.”

Folks, it’s coming. If you haven’t been stocking up on ammo for the last 10 years, you’re really fucking late.

More about honesty and integrity… and a little consideration to boot.

09.12.2010 (9:39 am) – Filed under: Dirge for the Repose of the Moronic,Interesting Theories

I was just reading this article: http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/12/08/wikileaks.students/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

Within that article, a professor states the following:

“The security clearance asks whether or not you’re a risk when it comes to sensitive material. This could be one indicator that, when taken together with others, creates a broader pattern that might suggest you’re not a person to be hired,” said Pepperdine University law professor Gregory McNeal, who specializes in national security law.

They may very well take into account your opinion, as a job candidate, whether or not you think WikiLeaks is a good thing or bad thing for the country,” he said. “It’s a small issue, but one to approach with caution if I were a student seeking a job in the national security field.”

E-mails went out last week to students at several schools, including Boston University’s School of Law, Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, cautioning students against commenting on or posting links to the documents on social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter.

Do you realize what that professor just said? Read between the lines. “Don’t admit that you’ve read these documents or you may not be able to get a security clearance.”

I’ve held that security clearance he’s speaking of. Let me tell you something, if you withhold the information and THEY find out about it, it’s a helluvalot worse than if you’re upfront about it to begin with.

Worse so than that, this professor is telling students not to admit they’ve read the wikileaks documents. They’re also saying that the information contained therein is still classified material of the U.S. Federal Government. Are they telling students these things to get them to falsify their security clearance applications in order to more easily gain their security clearances? Why? Just to get a job? I think not.

It’s worrisome to me that a professor would first, not be aware of what they’re advising students to do or not to do. Secondly, it’s worrisome that they’re probably not just doing this for the sake of the students, but for some other nefarious reason. It’s also worrisome that people are going to point the finger at me and say I am a conspiracy nut, when in fact, we have proof positive (wikileaks docs) that there are sleepers inside the government and military willing to leak classified documents for their cause.

Where has the honesty, integrity and consideration gone in this country?

Why, as people of authority, are professors leading students down the road to a felonious charge by law enforcement? Lying on a security clearance application is a crime. And they’re doing this in a public forum. A friggin CNN interview! My God!

Amazing…..

Arctic Ice

The other night, my wife and I were playing dueling laptops in the bed and messing around with google earth. I was teaching her how to create her own maps, about the coordinate system, placemarks, etc. She was well on her way to becoming a geographical whiz, when I noticed something odd on google earth. Not one shred of ice was evident on the north pole. Now, I don’t know about you folks, but I remember back in school, the globes and maps had ice placed on both polar caps. The conspiracy nut inside of me said that the global warming nut jobs had infiltrated google and they were covertly putting out their propaganda to influence today’s tech generation.

Tonight however, I was browsing the Drudge Report and found this little morsel.

Ironic? Strange? Damn sure fascinating. An under educated redneck was able to see a change in the poles where the scientists of the world missed it? I wonder what else they’ve missed?

Civil Unrest….

21.04.2008 (8:25 pm) – Filed under: Interesting Theories

That’s a politically correct way of saying “Civil War”. Welp, we’re on the verge of it. Mark my word, if something doesn’t change in the next 10 years, the United States of America, as we know it, we’ll probably not exist. We’re on the verge of something catastrophic. We’re currently seeing gas prices go to new heights. The price of food, if it’s available, is jumping through the roof. We’re seeing food shortages in different places across the country. Because of fuel prices, truckers are about to go on strike. There’s more warnings of gun control coming down through survivalist websites. The first amendment is allowing the press to get away with anything and everything, yet, religion and individual rights are being usurped in the name of law enforcement and “moral judgment”.

Drug use is on the rise, unemployment is down, however, the number of high-pay, medium skill jobs are way down. Many, not all, of the folks working in service industries such as hotels and restaurants are sub-prime employees with various degrees of criminal histories, low work-ethics and generally, of poor employee character. Many people would rather take the risk of criminal activity, rather than spend their time doing real work. The borders are being crossed daily by illegal immigrants, without much in the way of an effort to stop it. There’s a multitude of stories being presented to the American people in the form of books, movies and t.v. depicting yet another civil war. It’s in the minds of the educated and those in power. And in my opinion, it’s only a matter of time.

E.T., Bigfoot, War and Politics

24.01.2008 (3:28 am) – Filed under: Interesting Theories

Surely there’s something in common with all of these? What you’ve seen and many learned individuals have stated for years is, when a politician or country is “in trouble”, the spin doctors go to work and come up with various methods of either spinning the story their way or getting your mind off the subject. Over the years, we’ve seen it time and time again. One movie in particular, “Wag the Dog”, deals directly with this common practice and shows how a war is started in order to get your mind off some political nightmare or another.

Something I’ve noticed over the years and wasn’t really conscious of the “issue” (so to speak) is something that’s happened but I cannot give you examples because I haven’t jotted down a note about it because I didn’t realize it at the time (now however, I have noticed and I am “jotting down a note” via my blog). It’s kindofa catch-22 situation for previous experiences. I am not 100% sure of the things I’ve noticed because I didn’t write them down…. however, the pseudo-examples I have, are from memory and of course, there’s a good chance that I am giving you incorrect examples. For the sake of introducing you to what I am trying to explain, here’s one such pseudo-example that may or may-not be correct:

Back in the early 80’s, Chuck Norris did a movie called “Delta Force”. At the time, the government and the military kept the existence of “Delta Force” a rather well-guarded “secret”. Why? Perhaps it was because of their methodology. Perhaps a large majority of America, just getting past the Vietnam era, didn’t agree with this type of war-waging. There’s plenty of reasons, it’s their business and I am not going to argue with the fact that they wanted to keep it quiet. My point is, there was information out there, else, someone would not have written the screenplay and possibly the book, dealing with Delta Force. Where did the information come from? Nay-sayers would say that enough people had served with Delta that eventually, someone would talk about it. While I whole-heartedly believe the security of a secret decreases exponentially with the number of people that know about it, I also know what it’s like to hold a security clearance and to remember that I have an obligation to keep my mouth shut about things I’ve learned.

Both of those points above can only bring up the logical deduction that even though there are people out there like me, probably the majority that have held a security clearance, that take it very seriously and wouldn’t reveal anything. On the flip side of that, the sheer statistics dictate that there will be people out there that will divulge secrets and therefore, that’s where the info about Delta came from. However… “What if…..” What if the government wanted you to learn about a certain subject, such as Delta in this case without making a press release and without conspiracy nuts going crazy about it? If the government tells you one thing, there will be thousands of conspiracy nuts that will rip the statement to pieces and maybe garner headlines in the process, overshadowing the good with the bad. “What if….” What if the government decided to leak the information (which if by written order would be LEGAL to do so) in such a manner as to present a very likable image of the subject? What if they leaked just enough information to allow the creative juices to flow and write a screen play such as the Chuck Norris movie?

Back during World War II, the movie industry was manipulated by the military to produce war films that would do several things, two of which were: 1) Raise money for the War Bonds that were being sold/issued and 2) Increase enlistment by quality individuals, those in college or graduates thereof, etc. The military manipulated then and later during the Korean and Vietnam eras and later in the 70’s & 80’s by subjecting producers and directors to scrutiny over their scripts. If the military were favorable to a particular script, they would help the movie makers get the film in the can. If they were unfavorable, military personnel and equipment were withheld and limited or no support was given to the film makers.

Take “Apocalypse Now” for instance. Francis Ford Coppola ask for, but did not receive help from the military when filming the movie. He had to hire, at great expense, equipment and personnel from I think the Philippines in order to get the film produced because the military did not think the film reflected well on the military. I seem to recall, one of the specific reasons was because the military didn’t feel that an officer should be sent to assassinate another officer. I believe they encouraged Coppola to change the plot and have the Colonel brought in, rather than killed. Coppola wouldn’t change the script and therefore, didn’t receive the backing of the military.

So, what’s my point?

My point is, when the government wants to release info to the public, it will do so in several different ways and because our government is so good at it, the sublime doesn’t escape their methodology nor does subterfuge and dropping mysterious clues.

I sincerely believe that our government considers the public to be so naive that we the people cannot handle the truth about certain subjects. I believe there are those in power (in government, industry and education) that consider the public too ignorant to conceive that things such as “Bigfoot”, “UFO’s & E.T.s”, “The Lochness Monster” are real and if the public find out these things are real…. or even if one of these things are real, the people will lose faith in their governments. Stock markets will fail, pandemonium will ensue and chaos will reign supreme, whereby “they” will lose control of “us”.

As I said, over the years, I have noticed several things like my Delta Force example above. Currently, I am seeing a trend or two coming about….. There’s been an increase of “Bigfoot” programs on cable. There’s been an increase in “end of the world” movies and t.v. as well, such as the new Will Smith movie that’s just came out… I am Legend. The History Channel’s new series about when humans are gone. Also, we’ve recently been inundated with UFO/ET programming and movies. Not to mention the reality shows such as Survivor Man and Man vs. Wild.

How would a government go about informing the public that Armageddon was at hand? Do you expect a nightly news announcement? How about a nice little emergency broadcast system ticker during your favorite prime-time t.v. show? Seems a little silly to think a talking head would appear on t.v. and tell you that the end is near, especially considering some of the other ways the government have manipulated our entertainment experience over the years… makes you wonder doesn’t it?

Below, I’ll list some examples as I find them:

Alien on Mars? NASA speaks out.

Presidential Campaign – 2008

11.12.2006 (3:25 am) – Filed under: Interesting Theories

Post-Election Addition:

Looks like I was dead wrong. Although it baffles me that the American People would allow another Socialist in the Whitehouse, I somehow also understand it. People are fickle especially Americans. With the entire world breathing down our necks, attempting to get us to do their bidding and a strong American President such as George Bush telling them all to go fuck themselves, there’s no wonder the fickle-Americans came out to the polls and voted once in their lives.

U.S. Presidential Election 2008.

This will be short and sweet. If Hillary Clinton and/or Barack Hussein Obama are to be the “front runners” for the democratic party for president in 2008, we’ll see another republican in the white house, even if it’s Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld. Furthermore, I’d be highly surprised if someone didn’t try to put a bullet in either’s head.

UPDATE (11-30-2007): A man has entered the Clinton campaign headquarters in Rodchester New Hampshire with explosives (or what looks to be explosives) strapped to himself. Upon entering, he asked to speak to Hillary.

UPDATE (12-3-2007): Looks like this guy was a kook, not a patriot. From what the news has stated, he had “road flares” taped to his body to make it look like explosives.

UPDATE (1-3-2008):“…DES MOINES, Iowa — A man with a knife was arrested inside a campaign headquarters of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton in Decorah in northeast Iowa, police said Wednesday.” Check out this link: this link.

11-8-2008: Well, it’s really hard for me to believe, but the American people decided to elect Barack Obama to the Presidency. In years to come, someone will shed a bit more light on the subject and say something that I can believe to be the reason it happened. Perhaps as a people, in whole, we’re ashamed of being in battle after battle in Muslim countries and therefore, we’ve accepted a Muslim name into the seat of president. I don’t really know why, but it has happened. Just in case all doesn’t go well, I’ve loaded up all my weapons and await the coming of the anti-christ. j/k ~g
