D-Day

Posted on Wednesday, 6 June, 2012 by John

Please remember the 100,000+ troops that made the D-Day invasion and the subsequent victory in Europe possible. With over 12,000 lives lost on this 6th Day of June, 1944 and with 300,000+ troops marching onto the shores of Normandy on D+5, the Allied Forces pushed back the Axis powers and within the coming year, handed Hitler and his Nazi regime a hearty defeat.

Listen to the archived radio broadcast during D-Day.

Watch my favorite D-Day related movies.
